Bohol island of chocolate hills, big-eyed tarsiers and pods of dolphins

The Bohol Chocolate Hills are a wonder to behold, they look like perfect mounds of delicious chocolate. I've been here a couple of times and it remains one of my favorite island vacation spots.

They have the tarsier, primates so tiny, they are smaller than the palm of your hand. These critters are cute and need to be protected because they are an endangered species.

Among the tourist traps are a floating restaurant that glides gently down a river with your captain and crew singing you to the end to meet a very small waterfall.

Nonetheless, Bohol is a tropical paradise of pristine natural beauty, where the shores of the island are skimmed by gentle coves and white powdery sand beaches. A good place to visit is the Bohol Bee Farm in nearby Panglao island.

I am eager to revisit and try the other boat tours to nearby islands, and I heard if you are adventurous and really lucky, you can snorkel or dive to find yourself swimming with a pod of dolphins!
