I just had my first micro-retirement with my buddies in Boracay island! It was a really great place to vacation. I met with one of the coolest local guys and he showed us where to get the most beautiful view of the sunset in style.

Our local guide introduced us to some of the owners of the best shops and restaurants on the island and we got an inside peek at the best spots on the island.

He thinks differently because of his synesthesia which makes his senses fire at the same time. When he perceives the world, his senses combine words and numbers with colors, emotions, and even sounds. This has made him memorize better when he studies and learns because of the joining of his senses with various emotions.

Muscovado Sugar tastes great with coffee and tea, I've been using it for it's health benefits because it is less processed. It is now making a comeback after a while especially for health conscious individuals who prefer organic sugar over cancer causing sugar alternatives or sweeteners.

A new monitor lizard species was found in Sierra Madre, Philippines and is part of Top 10 New Species for 2011.

Each year the International Institute for Species Exploration (IISE) announces a list of the Top 10 New Species for the preceding calendar year. 1 of the Top 10 New Species listed was found in the Philippines, it's called the Northern Sierra Madre Forest monitor lizard and can grow up to 2 metres (6.6 ft) long! It's funny how scientists missed something this huge walking around in the forest. It also makes you wonder what else it out there waiting to be discovered.

It's nice to try and figure out how it's actually done, and how the magician does his tricks. Yet in the end, it's nice to just be amazed!

Take farming to the next level! I really like this idea from Whirligro a company which has products for vertical farming in compact spaces. Using spiral-shaped tubes to elevate food crops off the ground and greater yields like the ones in this picture.

Fast growing leafy crops are best used for the plastic tubes, and up to 30 plants can be squeezed into a one meter by one meter space. Watering can be done easily with a drip system.

What is PSI seminars? It is a personal success seminar from the US that a friend of mine recommended to me. After seeing the tremendous changes and improvements in his life, I decided to take a peek into this company. After attending an introduction, I learned a lot in their short presentation, and once I got a taste of what they were all about I craved for more and decided to sign-up.
